On Thursday 20 December, the seven pupils who had made the best use of their School Planners during Term were rewarded with a visit to Boston Bowl. Qualifying for the trip had required extensive use of their planners, recording everything from homework and mock exam dates to personal data and football fixtures!

After a rigorous warm-up (milkshakes), we descended upon the bowling alley to show those pins a thing or two. As the first game was Upper School versus Middle School, and the second boys v girls, the level of competitiveness was high! In terms of quality, the jury is out - we did have the barriers up, but we didn't use them too much...

For those who still hadn't exhausted their competitive spirit, there was just enough time at the end for a few games of pool. In Term 3, the level of challenge is greater: using your planner and doing as much of the homework you record in it as possible. Who will qualify for the next trip?
